To wander with wonder
To WANDER is to roam without direction so that we may WONDER - to marvel at or think curiously about the world within us and around us.
Never before have I seen so much beauty as I have since picking up my humble camera.
With camera in hand, my pace slows, my mind empties, my eyes widen - and I begin to wander with open curiosity, free of my inner critic, awash with a river of joy running through me.
With this exhibit I offer to you what my lens captures as I wander the places I inhabit,
all the while -
seizing the beauty of the moment,
connecting with humanity,
leaving space for the unknown

THE COLLECTIVE JOURNEY OF OUR ORDINARY LIVES
If nothing else, our time on this earth is a journey of ebbs and flows,
breakthroughs and setbacks, highs and lows, and sideways turns.
We experience moments of panic, outbursts of anger, periods of doubt, states of unrest.
We yearn to deflect sadness, fulfill our desires, escape our fears, fill the void,
And then … we have flashes of inspiration, moments of joy, times of stillness, and depths of beauty.
Join me on this collective journey of our ordinary lives by
adding your words to my words,
your experiences to my experiences,
your journey to mine …
For it is in communing with others, that life becomes just a little more meaningful,
and a lot more joyful!
