Resonance Lies in the Space Between
According to archeological findings - the human being originated on the continent of Africa between 5 and 7 million years ago and over time, migrated to different parts of the world, creating communities and villages along the way.
How they lived was defined by the geographical regions in which they settled - and the terrain, climate and vegetation of the area, determined how they sustained themselves and evolved over time.
What did all these migrant peoples and evolving civilizations have in common?
They had a need for food, water and shelter;
They were concerned with fertility, hygiene, adornment, rituals, safety, and developing more efficient ways of living;
They engaged in trade, play, education, work, civic organization, protection and the rule of law;
and then,
when life was no longer feasible where they were, they migrated to other geographical areas seeking opportunity, stability and safety.
The longer communities became settled on their patch of land, the more they sought to solidify their boundaries, defend their territory and control access to outsiders.
29.2% of planet earth is made up of dry land, ground for which human beings have waged battle on and attempted to gain control of for millennia.
What then lies in the space between these zones of control?
As humans, our outer world is but a mirror of our inner being, and by navigating the spaces between our own judgements and expectations, we gain access to new ways of seeing and being in the world.
The space between, is where our ego melts away, where we stand open and vulnerable to our encounters with another, where expectation gives way to open curiosity, where we feel the vibration of the human spirit, and where we enter into resonance with the collective unconscious.
Freed from that which controls us - we experience life as something greater than the self, and only then are we able to embrace the fullness of our time on this earth and be in resonance within ourselves and with those with whom we encounter.
Being in resonance then, means that we exist in the space between, a space of infinite possibility, beyond polarization, contributing to Chaos Theory and becoming a catalyst for the change we want to see in the world.
What stops you from living in the SPACE BETWEEN?
